Can I cure my headache with homeopathy?

You surely can! Homeopathy is very successful at treating most disorders of human organism, headaches included. To find a remedy for your particular kind of headache you should answer several simple questions.

Acute headache may result from emotions (such as grief or irritation), a physical trauma (a blow on the head) or be a part of your acute condition (cold in the head or flu). Chronic headache accompanies the patient for a considerable period of time and is a manifestation of a deeper chronic illness.

You should remember the event after which your headaches started. It can be an emotional, mental or physical factor: for example your headaches began after you experienced offense, anger or a head trauma.

You should be able to describe your pain in detail. Which part of the head hurts (forehead, temples, occiput)? What exactly do you feel (boring, drawing, pressing pain)? Is the pain directed inwards or outwards?

Some people may feel better if they lie in a dark room with their eyes closed. Others will have to constantly move to and thro, because motion diminishes the pain. There are people who feel amelioration after eating or after a long walk in the open air. Feel worse after a cigarette or a drink? That is also very important! There are hundreds of possible pain modifiers in homeopathy.

It may be vertigo, diarrhoea, cold sweat - we wish to find as many accompanying symptoms as we can.

Now that you have described your headache in detail, you can do one of the following:
